Heathcote II

290 Cornella-Toolleen Road, Toolleen, Victoria 3551

About

Heathcote II is about a 2 hour drive from Melbourne located 130km North of Melbourne city and 75km South of Echuca. After reaching the Cornella-Toolleen Road, drive for 2.9 kms and the entrance is on your right.

Heathcote II Cellar Door is open each weekend 10 to 5. At Heathcote II we do not pick the grapes until they are completely ripe meaning when the flavours and colours are fully developed and not only based on sugar level. We also wait for the seeds in the grapes to turn brown giving us softer tannins in the finished wine. The harvest is usually spread over 3 weeks with only a few rows picked at one time; again ensuring each row is at its optimal ripeness.

ACCOMMODATION
The Cellars at Heathcote II luxury accommodation offers a unique getaway experience centered around landscape and wine. Set on our vineyard and olive grove, your private villa provides you with the tranquil vistas of Mount Camel, the breeze in the silver foliage of mature olive trees and the lush green of vineyards contrasting against the red soil, red rocks and golden landscape.
Inside the villa, we have carefully selected your private walk-in cellar with local and international wines, with rare gems and everyday delights and of course a few bottles of Heathcote II! Whether it is a cosy winter evening near the fireplace or a balmy night on the large deck looking at the stars, all the elements are there for a memorable experience.
